The Role
This is not a "task manager" role. This is a Business Partner role.
As an Account Director at Impact3, you are the senior strategic owner of our most critical client relationships. You operate with a high degree of autonomy, serving as the bridge between a client’s boardroom and our execution teams.
Where an Account Manager ensures the work gets done, an Account Director ensures the work drives business value. You are responsible for client trust, retention, and account growth. You don't just take orders; you challenge assumptions, set the strategic agenda, and proactively guide clients toward the highest-impact outcomes.
- Strategic Stewardship: Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, constraints, and success metrics. Translate high-level client goals into clear strategic direction across Impact3’s service lines (Social, PR, Creative, Strategy).
- Commercial Ownership (Growth & Retention): You own the health of the account. You are responsible for retaining clients, proactively managing churn risk, and identifying opportunities to expand scope. You partner with Impact3 leadership to grow account revenue responsibly.
- C-Suite Advisory: Lead high-stakes interactions, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic pivots. You must be able to hold your own with Founders and CMOs, inspiring confidence in our strategy.
- Execution Oversight: While you don't push every pixel, you own the quality and outcome. You coordinate internal teams to ensure delivery is on time, on scope, and "Senior-grade." You are the final escalation point for quality control.
- Outcome-Based Reporting: Ensure clients receive clear, data-backed reporting that focuses on ROI and business impact, not just "vanity metrics."
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Senior Experience: 5+ years in Account Management, Client Services, or Strategy roles, with a significant portion spent in an Agency environment. You have managed high-value accounts before.
- Crypto-Native Fluency: You deeply understand the ecosystem—from DeFi protocols to L1/L2 dynamics. You can debate the merits of a strategy with a crypto founder without missing a beat.
