The Role
We don't need someone to tell us "the flow is confusing." We need someone to tell us "the flow is causing a 20% drop-off at checkout, and here is the architecture change to fix it."
As a Product UX Strategist at Impact3, you are the architect of the user experience. This is NOT a UI Design role. We have designers for that. We need a high-level thinker who bridges the gap between messy crypto concepts, business ROI, and human behavior.
You are the one holding the client's hand, not the one needing your hand held. You don't wait for a brief; you help write it. You will take ownership of the macro vision, ensuring that every click, scroll, and interaction serves a hard business goal.
- UX Strategy & Business Alignment: Lead discovery workshops with clients to define project goals. You don't just ask "what should it look like?"; you ask "what are the KPIs?" and define the strategy to hit them.
- Systems Thinking (Macro Vision): Map out end-to-end user journeys that span across web, mobile, and community platforms. You understand that the user experience doesn't stop at the dApp—it includes the Discord, the docs, and the marketing funnel.
- Data-Informed Insights: Analyze user behavior via heatmaps, analytics, and interviews. You must be able to interpret the numbers alongside qualitative human insights—reading "between the lines" of the data to find friction points.
- Information Architecture: Design the skeletal structure of products (sitemaps and low-fi wireframes) that prioritize clarity and conversion. You set the foundation; the design team builds the house.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Storytelling: Work closely with Account Managers, Strategy VPs, and Clients. You must be an elite facilitator who can explain the "Why" behind a strategic pivot to a CEO without using jargon.
- Prototyping & Validation: Guide our design team on creating low-to-mid fidelity prototypes to validate ideas quickly.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ Years Experience: Proven track record in UX Strategy or Product Design, preferably within the Web3, Fintech, or SaaS space.
- Business Acumen: You understand how UX impacts ROI, churn, and LTV. You speak the language of "Growth," not just the language of "Design."
